From this penthouse you can easily reach the Sapienza refuge at 2000 meters above sea level, from where you can take spectacular excursions on Etna, with walks through uncontaminated nature and through craters of the highest and most active volcano of Europe.

Descending into the valley, you reach Catania, with its architectural and landscape beauties, its rugged beaches, and crystal-clear sea. Catania is one of the largest and oldest cities in Italy. It was founded by the Chalcidian Greeks in 729 BC and is one of the few cities in the world to have both a Greek and a Roman theater. A multiethnic and colorful city, it has always been a crossroads of cultures and traditions, most evidently expressed in its cuisine. Here you can enjoy traditional Sicilian cuisine, primarily seafood, but also Thai, Moroccan, Chinese, Japanese, and Mexican dishes.
